Professor Donald Mastronarde is a professor of Classics at Cal. He has been a teacher at UC Berkeley for over 30 years, and continues to be active in undergraduate education.

Professor Mastronarde lived in Connecticut through much of his pre-adult life and garnered his education from Amherst College, Oxford University and the University of Toronto. He joined the Berkeley staff in 1973, serving as Chair of the Department of Classics from 1993 to 2000.
